Description of the events: The SNA Election-2026 was planned on 13.07.26. The criteria for election was informed to 2023 and 2024 batches, they have been encouraged to do nomination for the same on 06.07.2026. Students from both batches show interest in nomination, they were allowed to nominate till 08.07.2026. Followed by students started their Election campaign on 03.11.25 with the presence of SNA Advisors. All Nominated candidates introduced themselves and about their post to all students. On behalf of College of Nursing, SNA unit Election was organized for B.Sc (N) students on 13.07.2026. Dr.Subhasis Das, Professor& Head, Department of Physiology and his subordinate Dr.Sathyamoorthy conducted election using QR code scanning and 383 students involved in the polling of votes. Students were asked to place their signature followed by electoral ink in left point finger before casting their votes. Instructions for using QR code scanning were informed to the students and after casting vote they departed through emergency exit. The results were declared on 20.07.2026. Description of the Events: The Annual Sports Meet 2026 commenced on 7 July 2026 with the inaugural ceremony presided over by Dr. Annal Angeline, Principal, CON- PIMS. The sports competitions were conducted from 7th July to 14th July 2026 @ 3.00 p.m. to 6.00 p.m. Games (Throw ball and Volleyball) and field & track events (100m, 200m, 400m, Relay 400m, 1500m, shot put, Discus throw, Javelin throw, Long jump (Both boys and girls) and fitness challenge - only for girls) were conducted. The list of events organized are as follows • 7th July to 8th July - Volley Ball (boys) & Throw ball (Girls) • 9th July to 10th July - Kho-Kho (Girls) & Futsal (boys) • 11th July - Shot put, Discus throw, Javelin throw, Chess and Carrom. • 13th July - Fitness challenge (only for girls), March Past & Aerobic Exercise • 14th July - 200m & 400m. • 15th July – Annual sports meet (100m & , Relay 400m) Annual Sports Day- 2026: The Annual Sports Day and Valedictory Ceremony was held on 15thJuly 2026. The programme commenced with an invocation prayer by Rev. Fr.Ajin Philip, followed by Mr. Abel Varghese John, SNA VP, welcomed the gathering. The four houses presented an impressive March Past, following which the Olympic Torch was ceremonially lit and passed from Ms. Revathi shree (2022 Batch), Ms. Josna Biji (2022 Batch), Mr. Praveen (2022 Batch), Ms. Madharshini (2022 Batch), Mr. Ramdas (2023 Batch), Mr. Harshad Kelwyn (2023 Batch), Ms. Jephy (2023 Batch), Ms. Alisha (2024 Batch) and finally to Ms. Buvashree J, SNA Sports Secretary. Dr. Annal Angeline, Principal, CON- PIMS, recited the Sports Oath, followed by the presentation of the Annual Sports Report by Ms. Buvashree J, SNA Sports Secretary. Chief Guest address was delivered by Dr. Srikanth I., Principal, CHS-PIMS. The events 100m & 4 × 100 m Relay (Boys and Girls) was conducted. Special event Aerobic Dance was performed by all 4 houses. Medals and certificates were distributed to the winners of various events. The special events like Aerobic Dance Competition won by Orion House and March Past Competition won by Kratos House. Overall Champion of the Annual Sports Meet 2026 rocked by Pegasus House. The Dr. Srikanth I, Chief Guest was Felicitated by Dr. Annal Angeline. The program ends with the Vote of Thanks by Ms. Jismi, Deputy General Secretary, marking the successful conclusion of the Annual Sports Meet 2026.

Description of the Events: The AURA Sports Event was conducted from 11/07/2026 to 13/07/2026, with active participation from students of the Medical, Nursing, Nursing and Allied Health Sciences departments. The event was held daily from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM. Nursing students enthusiastically participated in various athletic events and demonstrated excellent sportsmanship, dedication, and teamwork throughout the competition. The Nursing students have participated and won in the following events: • Mr.Harshad Kelwyn (2023-2027 Batch) - 1st place in the 200-metre race &100-metre race. • Mr.Ramdas (2023-2027 Batch) - 2nd place in the 1500-metre race & 800-metre race. • Mr.Parthiban (2023-2027 Batch) - 1st place in the Javelin Throw event. • Nursing students 4 × 100-metre Relay Team secured 3rd place.The nursing department is proud of the outstanding performance of its students. Their achievements reflect their hard work, discipline, determination, and commitment to excellence. The SNA Talents Search Competition (IGNITRA – 2026) was initiated by the SNA Unit, CON- PIMS from 11th May to 14th May 2026. The programme was started on 11th May with a prayer song by SNA Choir, followed by Prayer by Ms. Hannah K Roby, SNA Spiritual Secretary. The event was inaugurated by Dr. Renu G Boy Varghese, Director Principal, PIMS. Dr .Navaneetha, Vice Principal, CON, Mrs. Leena L Raju, Asst. Registrar, HOD’s, faculty, SNA Advisors (Mr. Varun Babu E & Mrs.Rajalakshmi) and SNA members were participated. Registration was done from 5th to 9th May 2025. After registration slots were given to the participants. Each participants Rs.20 was collected towards registration.
