| NSS camp was conducted at Alankupam on TB control from 1.4.13 to7.4.13. Around 50 students actively participated in the programme. Mrs.Maliga Rajadurai acting Dean inaugurated the programme. Programme co-ordinator, faculty and students of College of Nursing attended the programme. |

| JULY | International Conference |
| An International Conference on ‘Epidemiological Research For Advanced Nursing Practice- A Global Health Scenario’ was organized by College Of Nursing on 26th & 27th July 2013(2 days). Resource Persons Were from UK, Oman,Maldives, WHO,NewDelhi. Around 531 delegates participated in the conference. Dr.Aravind Mathur, Medical officer from WHO, regional office Delhi was the chief guest. |

| The students of SNA unit actively participated in Breast feeding week celebration. Communal Harmony Mass education on Communal Harmony was conducted on World Communal Day celebration at Kodur village. |
| OCTOBER | State SNA Conference |
| Students participated in the State SNA conference at Erode in October 2013 and Ms.Shanmuga Priya got third place in Rangoli competition and was selected to participate at National level SNA Conference at Gujarat in November 2013. |

| THE RED RIBBON CLUB: In October 2013 AIDS awareness and Blood Donation Awareness programme was conducted at Community College. During September- October 2013 two students attended Youth exchange programme at Arunachal Pradesh and one student attended the Leadership Convention at Annamali University |
